Our story began back in 2013, when our founder Matt Rayworth decided to give his old plumbing van a new purpose. What started as a simple conversion for weekend surf trips and paramotor adventures quickly became something much bigger. Friends began asking for their own builds, word spread, and before long Matt traded his pipe wrenches for precision tools — and Dirty Rock Campers was born.

Over the past twelve years, we’ve grown from one man in a workshop to a trusted name in the UK van conversion scene, renowned for our ready-to-go campervan kitchens and custom furniture kits that are as unique as the people who drive them. From our base in Derby, we proudly serve van enthusiasts across the country. From weekend explorers to full-time nomads, with craftsmanship, creativity, and care at the heart of everything we do.
