Flooring is more than just something to stand on, it sets the level for your whole fit-out. Start with a solid base like 12mm ply: strong, reliable, and ready for whatever finish you choose on top. Once the floor is down, the little details make all the difference… that’s where thresholds come in.

Thresholds cover the edges where your flooring meets the van or furniture, giving a clean, professional look while protecting exposed edges from wear and tear.

Electrics

Electrics should always be planned before furniture is installed. Think ahead about where you’ll want sockets, LED lights, and fridge power. Leaving it as an afterthought usually means messy cable runs or things not reaching where they should.

Plumbing

If you’re running a sink or tap, get the plumbing prepped before your kitchen is installed. Think about where your water tank, pump, and waste will sit, and make sure you’ve left enough access to them.

  • Check sink cut-outs and placement before fitting worktops
